The Detectives - The Bear Theatre

The Detectives is an interactive murder mystery. One of the characters in the story is poisoned and the audience have to work out who the killer is. The story is set in a cabaret in England with three main characters Michael Kay, a magician, his wife Sylvia Kay, a dancer and their colleague Christopher O’Connel, a clown.

The show holds our attention with the cabaret, the clown, Sylvia’s open flirtations, and her husband’s jealousy. The story is captivating, and the logical solution to the mystery is also satisfying. The Detectives is one of the most popular shows in the repertoire of the theatre.

Prices

These are the prices for live in-person shows played in your school.

The price is per show. We can agree a price per student if that is more convenient for you.

Normally we need at least two shows to be played in the same place on the same morning. They can be different shows (it doesn’t have to be the same show twice).

Reductions apply to shows booked by September 19th 2023 (Shows to be played by the end of November)
